Life Lately

Jed and I have been enjoying the beautiful end of summer weather the last couple of weeks - and Darwin has been a big fan too.

Labor day weekend we got to do something kind of cool we went to a Romney campaign event. Jed and I have been talking about how we should get out to some of the campaign stuff around Cincinnati becuase honestly there aren't a lot of opportunities to meet presidential candidates and presidents unless you live in Ohio so the Saturday before Labor Day we finally got out to an event. It was super crowded (look at that line to get in), but it was actually pretty neat to see someone you've only seen on tv as a real person in real life.

Then the day after labor day we went to a Red's game with some friends and had a wonderful time - and to complete the evening the Red's even won ... and I got to have one of my beloved lemon freeze things, I don't know why but those thins are delicious.

Rather lamely Jed and to spend all day last Saturday at a regional MDPhD conference in Louisville so Darwin and I had a relaxing lazy Saturday, but hopefully we'll still get to do some fun stuff while the weather is gorgeous.
