Last night Jed and I went to a BYU baseball game with some friends from our ward. BYU did win the game, but we must be bad luck for them since they scored most of their runs before Jed and I arrived at the beginning of the 4th inning. The game was still lots of fun even if it was a little chilly.
I also had a sad realization while we were at the game: this was definitely our last BYU baseball game and probably our last BYU sports game before we leave. I can already tell that, as much as I feel ready to leave, I'll miss Provo lots. We'll have to try to visit all our favorite Provo places before this August (Cafe Rio obviously being on the top of the list).

Happy Anniversary to Us
Since it was our anniversary yesterday, Jed and I got to go on a fun date even though it was a Monday. We went to dinner at Chef's Table. The food was delicious and the restaurant was beautiful, but as soon as we got the bill we remembered why we can only go there on our anniversary. It was tons of fun though, and it was a great chance to do something special.
After dinner we went to the exceptionally glamorous Target in Orem to buy some new games. We had decided that instead of buying presents for each other we would go buy a couple of new games with the last of our Target giftcards from our wedding (yes we still had one from two years ago). We have now added Trivial Pursuit, Sequence, and a couple decks of cards to our game stash.
After that we decided to just rent a movie since we were both a little tired. And we got to finish our evening off with the classic romantic movie Independence Day :) All in all it was a wonderful anniversary and we had a great time! Now it's just 364 more days until we get to go out and celebrate again.

2 Years and Counting
Woohoo! Today is Jed and my 2nd anniversary. It is hard to believe that we have already been married for two years; it feels like we have been married forever, and like we just got married a few months ago at the same time (I know that doesn't make any sense but that is the only way I can explain it). It's been a great two years - so here is a little picture recap.

Taking the Plunge
Well I finally decided that it was time for us to get a blog. The next few weeks will probably reveal how committed I am to this new venture, but if you cross your fingers maybe I'll remember to update this now and then. I think part of the reason that it has taken us so long to get a blog is that it is hard to begin something like this - just like that first journal entry, you feel like you have to write your whole life story in order to catch up. I am going to opt out of that option and instead start right now (also I assume that anyone reading this blog - if anyone is even doing so - knows us).
Right now we are enjoying the very slowly warming Utah weather as we gear up to spend our last summer in Provo. That's right, our last summer! We just found out earlier this week that Jed has been accepted into the University of Cincinnati's MDPhD program (basically it is a joint MD and PhD program) and I found out a little while ago that I was accepted into University of Cincinnati's law school .... so Cincinnati here we come!
