Ah ... Groundhog Day. The mother of non-holidays. However, even though Phil decided to see his shadow today there is still always one fabulous thing about Groundhog Day - it reminds me to watch this:
And really it's one of the most fabulous movies ever. So here's to six more weeks of winter snuggled up in the house watching great movies (except for Jed - Jed doesn't' get to watch movies on weekdays because he studies - feel free to mock him).

A Long and Winding Road to Nowhere
On Saturday at 7 my parents called to say hi on their way to their Stake Conference (a church meeting we have twice a year) this is when I remembered that Jed and I also had Stake Conference that night and it had started 5 minutes ago. We hurried and got ready found the address and got in the car but to no avail. After getting lost in spite of attempting to follow the directions on our GPS (we saw this picture a lot) we finally got to the parking lot about 15 minutes before the meeting was supposed to end. So we turned around and went back home ... it was a long hour of driving AND we missed the meeting.
But don't worry the weekend wasn't all sad misdirections - on Friday we went out to dinner with some friends and saw Sherlock Holmes and had a great time. And while driving around on Saturday we were listening to James Taylor which made me want to watch Remember the Titans and when you end up watching a fun movie like that even an otherwise useless drive is worth it.
