As my Mom pointed out over New Years it has been quite awhile since I updated this blog and what better day to update then MLK Day. MLK Day is great because 1. I have the day off, and 2. the Freedom Museum in Cincinnati is free instead of $15.* So in honor of this we went with a few friends to the Freedom Museum, which is all about the underground railroad. It was a very interesting and I'm sure we didn't read even a 1/4 of the information they had in the museum - there was lots (and we only went for a couple of hours because Jed has a test tomorrow). Now unfortunately the rest of my day off has to be devoted to laundry and homework ... sadly just because there is no school today does not mean that there is no homework.
*I don't mean to trivialize all of the great things that Martin Luther King did - in fact we were celebrating black history at the museum see.
